Made-Alive

I’ve got a good day job, at a good company, I work hard & I earn pretty good money
I’ve got a (good life) beautiful wife, and a great family, but I can’t escape from
This thing that keeps on haunting me

Vs 2:
Early in the morning, or in the middle of the night
It comes without a warning, with no regard for a time that’s right
And when I’m out with my wife , I really truly try to be
Totally right there with her, but could U give me a minute or three

Chorus 1:
I write these songs, I know its sheer insanity
To be thinking that they ever will pan out for me
I try to sleep at night, do things right
But they won’t stop comin’ to me
God help me these songs are driving me crazy

Verse 2:
I remember hearing the great ones as a young boy
So the guitar and radio replaced my toys
It grew increasingly worse, like some positive curse & became my joy
And it’s still trackin’ me down, like some old bloodhound, …now I’m getting annoyed

Chorus 2:
I write these songs, some say that its pure vanity
But they don’t understand the fight inside of me
I try to sleep at night, do things right
But they won’t stop comin’ to me
God help me these songs are driving me crazy

Bridge:
All I ever wanted was a girl that I could kiss
A couple of babies and home that when I left I’d miss
I never bargained for, a calling that I’d weep for more
Than anything you’d dream, I’m talkin’ bout this
